I am a mother of two. I have a degree in Child Development and Early Childhood Education. I am a former Kindergarten and preschool teacher, and in my studies I have read numerous books on child development, child psychology, children learning styles, children emotional needs, among many other related subjects. I have under my belt a few years of classroom experience, but nothing can compare with the few years of experience at being a mom. I also hold a degree in Computer Programming, which is totally unrelated, but worth mentioning, before I let you know that now I am just a Mom, who decided to stay home for the sake of my kids. A lot of people have the notion that stay-at-home-moms are dummies that stayed home with the kids because they had nothing better to do, but nothing can be further from the truth.

“The Children are our future”. Sure, you and I have heard this many times before, and we believe this is true. But have we really grasped the depth of this statement. Have we fully realized what this really means? Or has it just become a cliché that we take casually?

I believe our children are the only reason why the whole world hasn’t gone mad and haven’t killed each other with nuclear weapons and like resources which are existent in the hands of very powerful people. And it is because of babies being born that the human race remains tenderhearted, kind, and loving. You see, there is something almost magical about children that helps bring out the best in each and every one of us. That inspires us to be better individuals, better citizens, better husbands, better wives, better friends, and better neighbors. It is their innocence that tells us that there is hope for a better tomorrow and it is their innocence that drives us to come together to do everything we can to protect them.

The children are indeed our future. Let’s raise confident men and women, who are satisfied with who they are, who are loving and caring, who are just and fare to every one, who have a passion for life and are willing to die for what they believe in. Let’s love our kids and care for them to the best of our abilities. There is no such a thing as a perfect parent, but we all can do our best to care for and protect our children. Now more than ever our children can be at risk. There is so much danger out there, more than we have even realized.

I want the best for my kids, and I want the best for yours, too. Because you see, it might just so happen that one of my kids might end up marrying one of yours. Or maybe, one of my grandkids might end up marrying one of your grandkids. Get the picture? Let’s raise the kind of kids that we wish our kids might end up marrying to…

I absolutely love children, and I sincerely want the best for all children and nothing less. In my efforts to protect and give all children the best, I hope to serve the community by sharing tools that I believe will help:

  • In raising happy and confident children
  • In keeping the children safe
  • By discussing issues that affect the family
  • Alerting of dangers
  • The latest information on topics of interest
  • Legislations that might affect your family
  • And much more
